Flag Day 2011
Flag Day is one of my favorite holidays, for what it represents. You may have read my story of having met an international pilot who chose to retire here in the United States to enjoy the freedom of flight. (My other blog: Blogbook post: July 4, 2008.) Today I am proud to live in a community that flies the Stars and Stripes high above the river atop the Blue Bridge.
